POSITION OVERVIEW
The Flowering Manager oversees the daily operation of the department and is responsible for all tasks and activities pertaining to production crops in their flowering stages. Priorities include managing plant re-location, irrigation and trellis installation, maintaining clean and organized grow rooms, reporting and addressing grow room environmental issues, making recommendations on fertigation strategy, ongoing plant maintenance tasks, pre-harvest preparation etc. This position requires a strong and detail-oriented leader who is willing to grow, motivate, and develop their team through mentorship and leading by example. The ideal candidate for this role is self-motivated, goal-driven, and business-oriented with strong knowledge of the entire cannabis growth cycle and requirement and proven experience with inventory tracking software and live sheets.AVAILABILITY

Implement and manage all company policies and proceduresConsistently communicate with upper management while ensuring the needs of all employees are met and high morale maintainedOversee the hiring, training, coaching, and development of all employees in the unitConduct feedback sessions with all staff while reviewing performance and setting goalsAlign with Cultivation Manager & Director of Cultivation to set, meet, and manage all financial and operational goalsOversee and maintain all staff schedules based on the operational needs of the departmentWork cross-functionally through the operation and maintain a hands-on "lead by example" approachDelegate, coach, and empower the department to achieve optimal performanceEnsure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by all employees in the departmentConduct daily walkthrough walk-throughs monitoring all environmental conditions and appliance settings including lighting, air movement, irrigation operations, dehumidification, temperature, CO2, and nutrient concentrationsOversee all aspects of the Flowering Department including quality and consistency of final productEnsure all plant harvests are completed in an appropriate time frame with efficiently bucking and trimming while all harvest technical and tracking processes are accurately completed.Partner with the Propagation Manager and Harvest team to ensure compliance, record keeping, documentation, flow efficiencies, requests, and any site needs are metAssist in all areas to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain successQUALIFICATIONS
21+ and currently residing in the USAHorticulture and/or Agricultural Experience, 5+ years (preferred)Management Experience, 3+ years (preferred)Cannabis Industry Experience, 3+ years (preferred)Advanced Communication, Math, Organizational, and Computer SkillsDispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (ability to obtain upon hire)Bachelor's Degree in Botany, Agriculture, or related field; or, Industry Training EquivalentWORKING CONDITIONS
Fast-paced, warehouse-like, and rapid-changing environmentManufacturing facility with industrially lit rooms and heavy machinery that may produce loud soundsIndoor greenhouse environments and grow rooms with elevated temperatures and humidityPlant pollen and extraction fumes may be present on surfaces and in the airProtective suits may be required (provided on site)Kneeling, squatting, lifting, bending, walking, pivoting, and long-term standing (all expected activities)Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds repeatedly*NOTE: The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending/descending stairwells while traveling throughout building. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
