Summary:
The Deposit Operations Specialist II provides support for the day to day operational functions for the deposit systems, products, and services.
Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.• Process FED receipts, FED Forward, FED Incoming and Outgoing Returns and balance and prove FED• Process branch capture work on Image Centre amount entry, reject an entry, and balance transactions• Review Daily reports• Processing incoming returns and unposted items• Manage Charge off Accounts• Perform all account daily settlements and monthly reconciliations for Deposit Operations• Responsible for Federal Withholding tax reporting and payments• Manage and process Escheat accounts• Responsible for processing monthly IOLTA reporting and payments• Push and pull electronic files as needed• Check duplicate items and provide resolution• Process merchant capture and mobile capture items• Use the bank's document imaging platform to upload both physical and electronic documents• Continuously assess document imaging workflow for efficiency• Keep authorized signer documents up-to-date• Report date of death balances to the PA Department of Revenue as appropriate• IRA processing including RMD and tax reporting• Assume ownership of developing procedures and process guidelines for Deposit Operations• Process garnishments• Manage Escrow manager accounts• Review Dormant Account Status Changes• Review NSF & OD outside Retail approval limits• Manage, review, and track rate exceptions• Assume responsibility for gathering all audit-related materials and requests• Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:• High school diploma or GED required• 1-2 years of Banking Experience required• Deposit Operations and/or IRA experience preferred
Competencies:• ENB Operational and Functional Competencies• Strong 10-key and math skills• Basic computer skills
Supervisory Requirements:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional work environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, monitors, mouse, keyboard, phones, printers, scanners, photocopiers, filing cabinets, calculator, and fax machines. Due to physical location of this position, phone ringing, and people conversing, it may be difficult to hear at times and therefore easily distracting.
