General Summary:
Responsible for planning and coordinating the development, delivery, and administration of engineering and facility maintenance technical development programs.
Essential Primary Duties and Responsbilities
Collaborate with technical stakeholders, including representatives of external training organizations, to execute training needs analysis.Utilize needs analysis results to create gap closure plans that support business strategies.Design and develop engineering training material to include learning objectives, presentations, exercises, assessments, evaluations, and documentation.Design and develop training material to include learning objectives, presentations, exercises, assessments, evaluations, and documentation.Assist the facility department with managing key maintenance indicators such as budget, downtime, manpower, preventive maintenance, spare parts, and computerized system.Create specifications and drawings for new equipment or parts using various CAD software.Execute the facility department's action plan to achieve the yearly operation planQualifications and Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or related field along with progressive experience in the maintenance or facilities field in a manufacturing environment preferably within the automotive industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to travel domestically and internationally.Demonstrated ability of building relationships, credibility and partnering with business leaders and peers.Strong project and time management skills: Set and maintain priorities and meet deadlines. Lead multiple programs simultaneously.Strong communication skills, both written and oral.Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in both exercising company decisions and carrying out essential job duties that affect efficient business operations and its objectives, policies, practices, and conditions.Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required
Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.Experience with SAP system preferred.Experience with CAD software.Knowledge and experience with PLC programming (preferably A/B or Siemens).Experience with automation, design, installation, and repair of equipment.Capacity to understand schematics and specifications of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
