Seeking a dynamic candidate to support proposal, marketing, and communications efforts, in a creative and collaborative work environment. This is a primarily remote position with occasional in-person working sessions in the Northern Virginia region. Awesome opportunity to become a key member of our talented Corporate Growth and Proposal Development Team Primary Responsibilities: Develop and write persuasive technical content for proposals and white papers, and engaging messaging for communications, social media, and marketing deliverables. Review and copy edit content provided by SMEs and partners. Conduct research, facilitate interviews with SMEs, company leaders and partners to develop proposals. Provide copy editing, proofreading, and final reviews for proposals and other deliverables. Provide support/guidance to the proposal development team in all areas, particularly compliance, readability, quality, and messaging. Edit content to streamline prose, improve focus, sharpen structure, and reduce word count (one-voice or technical edit). Actively participate in a collaborative effort to develop strategy and solutioning for capture and proposal efforts. Support Content Library initiatives to include uploading reusable content, editing archived content for future use, and consolidating files/folder structures for more efficient access. Job Requirements: 5 years of experience needed in federal government proposal arena Excellent writing and editing, skills Proficiency in translating complex technical and process information into effective solutions Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources Proficiency using styles, themes, and advanced Microsoft Word features Ability to work on and efficiently switch between multiple short-term assignments with tight deadlines. Ability to work occasional long hours and weekends to meet deadlines Ability to function well in a very team oriented atmosphere Bachelors Degree required. Prefer degree in English, Journalism, Business or other related field. Shipley training preferred
