Position Description

Performs entry-level administrative and technical support work. Work involves performing a wide range of administrative and office support work for the department, including maintenance and upkeep of job-aids and training material. Technical work involves entry level end-user support for Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning requests/issues. Employees at this level perform assignments following specific instructions and are subject to frequent review by the immediate supervisor.

Essential Duties:

•Answers the telephone, evaluates requests, answers questions, routes messages, and/or serves as receptionist or front desk assistant.

•Assists in maintaining confidential information and records.

•Assists in performing inventory of Software and Licenses.

•Assists in processing routine documents such as Articles, Job Aids, Manuals, and Instruction Materials.

•Assists with general Administration duties such as provisioning and deprovisioning licenses and issuing materials and supplies, maintaining records, and maintaining areas of shared information or repositories.

•Disseminates information to the agency.

•Maintains files, records, and logs.

•Maintains contact with team members, leads, and others.

•Makes copies and distributes as instructed.

•Opens, sorts, and distributes mail.

•Performs preliminary research on assignments and gathers pertinent data.

•Performs routine word processing duties and conducts quality checks of documents created.

•Runs errands as required.

•Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education : Must be a student in high school or other educational institution or accepted into a college, university or educational institution.

Other Conditions :

Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education to include

a trade/vocational school.Employees at least 18 years of age with valid driver's license may be assigned driving duties and may

use power tools.Preferred Qualifications:

•Administrative support practices and procedures to include writing, editing and report writing techniques, recording meeting notes, record keeping and records management.

•Preparing correspondence/documents using correct spelling, grammar and punctuation; proofreading and reviewing documents for clarity and consistency

•Using standard office equipment

•Using computers and applicable programs, applications, and systems

•Maintaining a safe working relationship

•Follow verbal and written instructions.

•Follow applicable safety standards, practices and procedures.

•Protects sensitive and confidential information.
