Shift : Days / 7a-7:30p, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will also consider 36 hrs
Length : 13 weeks
Must work 2 out of 3 of the holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD)
Weekend: Travelers will be scheduled for weekends as needed. Weekend days constitute Saturday and Sunday, weekend nights are considered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

They are responsible for examining patients upon their arrival and carrying out triage tasks to assess their condition. Ability to identify injuries, signs and symptoms, and communicate their assessment to the physician are required for the emergency room nurse. A travel ER nurse assists in patient treatment and explaining prescription information to patient/family among other tasks and must know the facility and government policies as it relates to patient treatment, transfer, and discharge. Educating the patient and their family about continued treatment at home is another task carried out by emergency room nurses before discharge.
