This position reports directly to the Manager of Product Sales. The Product Sales Account Manager is responsible for selling and supporting the firm's complete product and service offerings to an assigned set of named accounts and distributors. Focusing on customers with high-value, strategic growth opportunity, the Account Manager's most important customer interactions are face-to-face meetings.

Other responsibilities

Manages distributor and direct client accounts to increase sales, maintain high profitability and increase awareness of Company goods and servicesPenetrates assigned accounts by:

Selling new or additional products or services to current buyers; and/orFinding additional buyers within the existing customer location; and/orSelling to additional customer locations

Sells the firm's complete offering of products and servicesLeads all aspects of the sales process, calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery, as needed, or as directed by managementDevelops customer account plans for strategic clients that services relevant customer needs, prioritizes selling opportunities and establishes actionable plans for successProactively manages customers' satisfaction by anticipating potential service problems, and monitoring overall order progressOther duties as assignedQualifications

and Experience

Four year college degree from an accredited institutionMinimum six years of sales experience in a business-to-business, large/strategic customer segment; or a record of achievement in the Account Manager position.PC proficiencyProficiency in reading and understanding engineered drawingsAutoCAD experience desirable
