Overview
The Pediatric Rehabilitation/Feeding Unit provides 24-hour medical, nursing, respiratory and intensive therapy services. The Neurorehabilitation program treats patients ranging from infants to young adults with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, chronic pain disorders, recovering from orthopedic surgery, and complex medical conditions.
This position is 36 hours per week, three 12 hour shifts, Day (7:00am-7:30pm)/Night (7:00pm-7:30am) rotation

The tools to learn effective communication with the patients, families and interdisciplinary team
Education about how to preform skills related to: IV insertion, blood draws, trach suctioning, trach changes, mechanical ventilation, central lines, tube feeds through NG/GT/JT/Peg tube, dressing changes, wound vac, positioning, transferring, donning/ removing orthotics, and emergency situations
Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN or enrolled in a BSN program to be completed within 2 ½ years of hiring date.
Experience: Experience with pediatric and/or developmentally disabled population preferred.
Certification: Current CPR certification that included hands on skills
