Project Coordinator
with Resource Innovations, you will work in a dynamic environment supporting large scale commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs. The
Project Coordinator
must be able to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to program changes or challenges. We are looking for an exceptional person who enjoys working in an innovative environment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEducate and assist service providers and customers with program participation by answering energy efficiency program questions, reviewing project assessments and equipment specifications, and providing guidance on the application process.Conduct comprehensive energy assessments/audits for commercial, retail, and public customers.Support and train subcontractors/service providers on performing comprehensive energy assessments and provide technical and non-technical support to successfully participate in energy efficiency incentive program offerings.Conduct on-site inspections to verify installation and operation of baseline and replacement energy efficient equipment.Establish and maintain a professional customer rapport, including identifying and anticipating customer needs and proposing solutions.Promptly and accurately address customer concerns to assure problem resolution and promote long-term productive relationships.Understand the organization and decision-making process to work with stakeholders in determining project eligibility, schedule, and potential energy savings.Perform and review energy savings calculations for evaluating energy savings and environmental impact.Provide technical and customer support to energy efficiency incentive program participants.Manage on-time delivery of technical reports to customers and subcontractors/service providers as needed.Efficiently manage multiple projects, provide timely updates, and ensure our customers and subcontractors/service providers are up to date with program information.Communicate efficiently with subcontractors/service providers, customers, and clients to meet program requirements.Other duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsBA or BS degree is preferred, preferably in a STEM field – Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or Business Management, Construction Management or a related fieldAt least 2 years of project coordination experience or similar within the energy efficiency industry preferredAn understanding of building energy systems preferred (particularly lighting, HVAC, and refrigeration) and/or sustainability is a plusDemonstrated ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects and work with technical staffExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skillsProficient in MS office suite including Excel and Word and the ability to learn and operate company proprietary computer software is requiredInterest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environmentMust have IL driver's license and be able to travel locally up to approximately 25% of the timeResource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on candidate's qualifications.
