Provide leadership in plant safety and operations on a day-to-day basisDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with customersEstablish production work schedulesProvide leadership in people development activities such as hiring, training, developing, and coaching staffServe as a role model; support and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies and practicesSupport manager in long-range planning and budgetingWork closely with the commercial team to keep them informed when nonferrous commodities need to be soldConduct monthly inventoryHands-on leadership approach in working with teammatesSafety OrientedHigh school diploma or GED requiredBachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering or related field or a minimum of 3 years management experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environmentExperience in operations or manufacturing with heavy equipmentExperience in scrap processingPreferences:
