Job Summary
Reporting to the Vice President, FP&A, the FP&A Manager will provide support in all aspects of the FP&A function, including preparation of budgets, forecast models, and performance monitoring for all product lines in the Division. The Manager will play a key role in the development of financial models and forecasts specific to the Division and will support the Corporate Finance and Operational teams in the financial management of the Division.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
Play a key role in completion of the annual budget, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly financial reporting processes.
Prepare and analyze financial models and forecasts of key revenue and expense items.
Partner with the Division Leadership to perform ad hoc analysis and special projects pertaining to the strategy and financial objectives of the division.
Analyze macroeconomic trends and leading indicators in the travel industry to understand their impact on the business’ financial objectives.
Complete budget versus actual variance analysis, interpreting results and alerting leadership to key risks or opportunities.
Prepare and present financial reports to Finance and Senior management, highlighting performance opportunities and risks.
Partner with various groups including IT, Operations, Commercial, Accounting, HR and Finance to report out findings, trends and identify solutions for potential issues and process improvements.
Seek continuous improvement of the FP&A function through the identification of opportunities across people, processes, and technology
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
5+
years of corporate finance or comparable experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Netsuite, or comparable ERPs and Planning software.
Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
Proficient knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques.
Strong ability to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets.
Able to collaborate with cross functional teams across the organization.
Knowledge or experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) or travel software industry is a plus
Education Requirements
BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
