What you’ll be doing:

The Associate Attorney role involves consistently identifying clients’ legal needs, offering counsel, clarifying legal options, and adeptly representing them in courtroom settings and negotiations. Our top priorities are making sure our clients feel fully supported and receive optimal, cost-effective legal assistance.

What you bring:

5 years of legal experience- Family Law/Washington experience preferred, motion/mediation, collaborative, and trial training a plus

Must be licensed, active, and in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association

Familiarity with King County, Snohomish County, and Pierce County local rules or an ability to learn quickly

Experience with Dropbox, Adobe, MS Office 365, Slack, Apple, Clio, or ability to learn quickly

Stellar writing skills – a writing sample will be required

Willingness to be coached and practice radical candor

A strong sense of community

A passion for empowering clients with information to identify their goals

Commitment to meet mutually agreed upon billable hour requirements

Stable internet and access to a phone

Ability to attend in-person for Court, Mediations, and Meetings

What you get:

Full-time employees and/or their dependents are offered partially subsidized medical and dental insurance, long-term disability, life insurance, and a matching 401k plan, subject to plan requirements. Employees will also receive annual paid time off including, 9 paid holidays, 5 paid personal days, up to 4 weeks paid and up to 8 weeks unpaid bonding leave, 8 hours of paid volunteer time, and additional sick time. The firm is also a fully remote (work-from-home) workplace.

Salary range for this position: $99,500 – $169,800

Location: Seattle, WA – Remote
