The ideal candidate is committed to fostering positive outcomes for clients while also contributing to a team that values integrity, growth, and community.Duties:Assess client legal needs and provide expert counsel on family law matters.Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation, and negotiations.Prepare and review legal documents, including motions and trial briefs.Collaborate with clients to identify their goals and develop effective legal strategies.Work closely with team members to ensure high-quality legal services are provided.Stay updated on local rules and regulations in King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties.Build relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds to provide tailored legal support.Participate in networking and marketing efforts to strengthen community engagement.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a focus on family law (Washington state experience preferred).An active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.Familiarity with local court rules in King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties or ability to learn quickly.Proficiency in legal technology platforms such as Dropbox, Adobe, MS Office 365, Slack, and Clio.Strong legal writing and communication skills (writing sample required).Willingness to be coached and practice open communication.Emotional intelligence and ability to work effectively with diverse clients.Ability to attend in-person court proceedings, mediations, and meetings as required.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Washington State.Skills:Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients.Proficiency in legal research, writing, and drafting legal documents.Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet billable hour requirements.Location:Seattle, WA (Remote position with occasional in-person court appearances and meetings).This full-time position offers a flexible, remote work environment while providing comprehensive benefits and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
