Our BLS and ALS services impact not only the lives of our patients, but their families and communities.Position Summary:The People & Culture Jr. Generalist will support the People & Culture department in various functions, including recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance. The Jr. HR Generalist will work closely with senior P&C staff and leadership to ensure smooth and efficient people operations, providing excellent service to employees and management. Additionally, the Jr HR Generalist will work closely with other shared services on projects including union matters related to payroll and timekeeping.Compensation:
$66,560-$70,000 per yearWhat We Offer:401(k) with 6% company matchTraining and Career DevelopmentEssential Functions:Provide administrative support to the HR department.Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.Maintain payroll records, including employee information, deductions, and benefits administration.Partner with HR shared services (Payroll, Benefits, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Timekeeping) to ensure a positive employee experience.Assist with pay discrepancies inquiries and execute proper payment of employee’s checks promptly.Respond to employee inquiries in a timely manner.Track employee relations issues, providing counsel and guidance to employees and management regarding the appropriate application of company policies and processes.Assist in organizing company events and employee engagement activities.Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed.Assist leadership on labor management issues.Conduct stay and exit interviews and provide reports to inform decision-making.Maintain working knowledge and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws/regulations and reporting requirements affecting HR functions.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources.Detail-oriented.Excellent organizational and administrative skills.Strong written and oral communication skills.Effective coaching and influencing skills.Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Must have a working knowledge of software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.Payroll experience a plus; ADP experience also a plus.Knowledge of HCM systems preferred.Education Requirements:The individual in this position should ideally possess the following education requirements:Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business or a related field.This job description is a summary of duties; it is by no means an all-inclusive list but is merely a broad guide of expected duties.Falck is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
