AOC Human Resources Lead
Full-Time:
M - F 9am - 5pm
AOC Outreach Services is seeking an experienced and passionate HR Manager to lead their human resources initiatives and shape our company culture. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, providing direction to the HR Services Department and comfortable in a collaborative environment with leadership teams. This individual will act as the lead person in the delivery of human resource services with specific responsibility for providing information to managers and district employees regarding policies and regulations, addressing a variety of issues and providing general support. Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. Aid company compliance with Federal and State Employment and Labor Laws.
Responsibilities:
Utilize HR experience to oversee recruitment, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, and performance management.
Culture Cultivation: Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, promote diversity and inclusion, and align with AOC company core values.
Compliance and Policy Implementation: Develop and implement HR policies to ensure adherence to legal requirements and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with leadership teams to align HR strategies with overall business goals, fostering effective communication and strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions when necessary.
Maintain organization's staff by recruiting, testing and interviewing candidates for employment, counseling managers on candidate selection and conducting and analyzing exit interview data.
Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers and disciplining employees when necessary. Schedule management conferences with employees. Maintain employee benefits program and inform employees of benefits.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records and representing the organization at hearings.
Responsible for benefits administration, which also includes the reconciliation of health insurance invoices.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience across HR functions including Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, Culture, and Payroll.
Strong understanding of HR practices and compliance.
Demonstrated success in enhancing company culture.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience.
Seven + years of experience in an HR position.
Working knowledge of HR practices and regulations within the designated region.
Strong communication skills.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Experience within fast-paced HR environments with rapidly changing demands.
Background in mental health preferred.
Bamboo HR system.
