The role involves designing, developing, and implementing artificial intelligence solutions that will drive innovation and business value. It involves collaborating with cross-functional teams (both Business and IT) to leverage AI technologies in solving use cases and problems that will enhance our products and services to both internal and external customers/stakeholders.The role will entail overseeing engineers (AI, Cloud, Software, Data Engineers) as we build solutions in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, designing and developing AI models, algorithms, and systems to address specific business challenges and use cases.As an AI Engineer, we are seeking to have a highly skilled and motivated engineer that will help build robust, scalable, and reusable AI solutions that will integrate seamlessly with our modernized or existing platforms and cloud solutions.This role requires strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in AI technologies (e.g., Large Language Models, RAG, etc.) and familiarity with various programming languages in driving technical leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Model Development and Deployment (Small and Large Language Models)Data Preparation and Analysis: processing, cleaning, and transforming datasets to prepare them for AI Model Training and Validation.Integration of AI Models, reusable products/modules to existing applications and systems.Oversee the development, training, and validation of AI models, including machine learning and deep learning models.Ensure models are accurate, robust, and optimized for performance.Continuously monitor performance of deployed AI models and refine as we see fit.Work closely with cross-functional teams, technical and business teams, understanding business requirements and translating them to actionable AI solutions.Code Quality:
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation to describe AI solutions and system designs, including implementation and usage details.Continuous Improvement and Enablement:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, LLM, and related technologies.Support:
Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as needed to ensure smooth operation of AI solutions.KPIs:Model Accuracy and Performance: percentage of correct predictions, avoiding hallucinations made by the AI Models.Reusability: Ability to create AI products that will be reused across different systems, projects, and different Globe groups and divisions.Data Quality and Management: Data Efficiency, Data Consistency, and Data Utilization.Customer and Stakeholder Feedback: Satisfaction levels of stakeholders, both internal and external for the AI solutions and measuring business benefit and value of solutions implemented.Business Impact: ROI for AI Solutions, User Adoption, and Business Metrics/Operational Metrics Efficiency improvements.TOP 3-5 DELIVERABLES:Deployed AI Systems and Products: Creation of AI Reusable Modules, SDKs that will accelerate adoption of AI solutions across different systems or groups in Globe.AI Models: Trained and optimized AI Models that will perform specific tasks in various use cases such as language processing, predictive analytics with high accuracy and efficiency.Data Pipelines and Infrastructure: deliver models that require a steady stream of high-quality data to function effectively. Build and maintain data pipelines that collect, clean, transform, and feed data to the models.Technical Documentation and Reports: Clear and comprehensive documentation for use and enablement of stakeholders in the use of the AI modules/products that will be produced.HIRING REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or related fields.Experience: At least 3 years of experience in software development, data science, and analytics, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions especially in the areas related to AI/ML.Portfolio: Demonstrable portfolio of previous Data and AI/ML projects and/or code samples that show business value to their targeted stakeholders.Equal Opportunity EmployerGlobe’s hiring process promotes equal opportunity to applicants.
