Your support will include the coordination and execution of inspections, and monitoring / permitting of non-intrusive maintenance activities of the site OSBL systems.You will additionally work in cross functional teams to determine and prioritize continuous improvement opportunities for the non-production assets across the site. • Ensuring the application of all safe work best practices and safety rules by the maintenance crews via the issuing of safe work permits (SWP) and tag-outs in support of non-intrusive OSBL activities.• Overseeing the contractors involved in the site roads and yards maintenance, janitorial services, pest control services, plant-wide trash FEL, and commodes upkeep. These responsibilities will include being involved in their contract’s renewals / approvals.• Acting as the manufacturing representative on capital projects in the non-production facilities and assets, which includes the site logistics assets and off-site buildings and grounds.• Employing your familiarity with SAP to assist maintenance gatekeeping functions for the site infrastructure assets, and working with the XA planners and schedulers to ensure the MIP work process is adhered to and that work backlogs are minimized.• Being responsible for the upkeep of the site trucks and buses, ensuring all vehicle state inspections are performed in a timely manner and keeping track of vehicles that are nearing end of life and in need of replacement.• Assisting the infrastructure asset manager in performing routine reviews of the site infrastructure assets to develop risk-based, cost avoidance, and long-term maintenance and replacement strategies to improve the assets.If you have...
• A High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.• Experience in safe work permitting process.• Experience in civil related capital projects execution (Man. Rep).• Minimum 5 years of experience working in either the Chemical, Petrochemical, or Refining industry.• Familiarity with SAP maintenance modules.• A results-oriented self-starter (requires minimal supervision).• Excellent influencing and communication skills (both written and verbal).• Proven success working in a multi-discipline team.Create your own chemistry with you@BASF
