Full-time, In-personSalary:Starting at $45.00 per hour, based on experienceOverview:Cross Country Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at the Paramus School District. The ideal candidate will work with elementary and middle school students, including those in ABA programs, providing speech and language therapy services in a school setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while working within a supportive team environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct speech and language therapy services to preschool through 8th grade students, including those with ABA needsConduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide progress reportsCollaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create and implement therapeutic plansManage and maintain case load effectively, ensuring students receive appropriate servicesParticipate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other school-based team activitiesAssist in the development and implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies, as neededQualifications:Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programValid State License in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)Experience working with elementary and middle school-aged students, including ABA students, is preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamCompassionate and patient approach to working with students with varying needsAdditional Information:Full-time, in-person positionImmediate start with an end date of December 20, 2024 (with the possibility of extension)Hours: 8:45 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to FridayHow to Apply:Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their qualifications and experience.Join Cross Country Education and make a lasting impact on students' lives!
