Supervisory General Field Representative (Telecommunications)

This position is located in U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Rural Development (RD), Rural Utilities Service (RUS), Assistant Administrator - Telecommunications Program, Office of Loan Origination and Approval Division. Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.
Time in grade:
Current federal employees applying for a promotion opportunity must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks for service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-14 level: Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-13); or its non-Federal equivalent that demonstrates overseeing program activities and coordinating and implementing a full range of financial and engineering analysis, reviews, or studies related to providing loans, loan guarantees, and private financing transactions for the construction and operation of telecommunications and broadband systems in rural areas.
Qualifications are based upon meeting specialized experience only.
Education cannot be used to qualify for this position.
