Job Summary
The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of Oldcastle APG's internal and external financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and GAAP. The position oversees a team of two analysts and reports to the Financial Reporting Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong handle on accounting, reporting, financial systems and the needs of the business. The role requires someone able to adapt and pivot to changing reporting requirements driven by our acquisitive nature and public company requirements. A continuous improvement mindset is a must as you will be expected to optimize the reporting process. A successful candidate for this role is a hands-on immediate team player that is flexible, adaptable and passionate about high-performing and collaborative teams.
Job Responsibilities
Consolidation and Management Reporting: Preparation of monthly financial results for local management reporting and parent company consolidated reporting. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Delivery of extensive monthly financial reporting package, as well as semi-annual IFRS reporting pack and quarterly US GAAP to our parent company, including related disclosures and support schedules. You will add business insights to the reporting, including the ability to highlight drivers of variances. Financial Systems Business Partner: Partner with Financial Systems on creation, management, and automation of key reports / dashboards; system mapping and hierarchy updates; data loads from ERPs (SAP and M3) to consolidation reporting tools (HFM, EPM and d/EPM). At times will requires researching and resolving load errors. Supervise the work of all direct reports to ensure effective and efficient departmental functions. Serve as resource, primary advisor, and mentor for all direct reports. Provide a goal-oriented work environment with clear and concise work procedures and productivity standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. Strong understanding of financial statements. CPA preferred. Public accounting experience preferred. Experience with reporting and/or financial systems preferred. Experience in M3, d/EPM, EPM and HFM and related systems and processes, App studio (new version of Crystal) a plus.
