We currently have an exciting opportunity for aCorporate Development Analystin our Corporate Development group.Westinghouse Electric Company's Corporate Development group is responsible for directing short and long-term corporate development growth through ongoing strategic evaluations in order to positively impact the company's future. As such, this group leads the evaluation and execution of domestic and international acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, partnership agreements and strategic investments. The group works closely with senior management to source and assess new business opportunities in line with the company's corporate strategy.
TheCorporate Development Analystis responsible for supporting the corporate development team in executing strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and capital raising. The analyst will perform financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, market research, and deal execution activities.
Your Day to Day: Create and maintain financial models to evaluate the impact of various strategic scenarios and opportunities. Conduct valuation analysis using various methodologies such as discounted cash flow, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and sum-of-the-parts. Assist in preparing deal materials such as pitch books, teasers, information memoranda, management presentations, and term sheets. Support the due diligence process by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, reviewing financial and operational data, and identifying key risks and opportunities. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify and assess potential targets, partners, and investors. Monitor industry trends, deal activity, and financial performance of relevant companies and sectors. Assist in post-merger integration activities and track deal synergies and performance. Who You Are: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field. Minimum of 3years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Business writing skills; ability to create well-organized, well thought-out business cases, diligence reports, research papers, etc. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality. Interest and passion for corporate development and M&A.
