Makes sure that parts are available on time as needed for specific maintenance issuesPurchase for maintenance, machine repair/ spare parts to OEM spec and safety standardsAdhere to proper business ethics by quoting multiple suppliersResearch and establish venders/ suppliers in the USA that are cost and lead time effectiveEnters and maintains list of suppliers in maintenance systemMaintains MP2 Inventory, work order, Equipment & Purchasing Modules with the aid of the system administrator when neededMaintain maintenance spare parts inventory to reduce and/or eliminate machine down time and/or loss of productionPerform random cycle counts and audits to maintain inventory count accuracy (1 to 2 weekly)Establish MP2 inventory usage history by tracking all parts movement, through receive and check out features to establish min/max and reorder point for all spare partsAssists and trains other ALPLA employees on the use of MP2 inventory, equipment, work order, work order request and purchasing modulesShipping, receiving and inventory control of all machine's spare partsWork with the other ALPLA USA plants on sharing of inventoryRequirements
What Makes You Great
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma; GED; Technical or Trade SchoolMin 2 years' experience working in manufacturing environment recommendedQualifications/Skills:
Very good interpersonal and communication skillsGood numerical skills
