Job Title: Master Data - AP
Job Description
The Vendor Master Data Team Lead will support governance, process improvements, and problem resolution. They will follow up on vendor setup requirements and provide support to the Vendor Master Data Specialist as needed. Ensuring requests from the business side are processed timely and adhere to internal guidelines is a key aspect of this role. The Team Lead will also ensure compliance and implement changes following business policies and procedures.
ResponsibilitiesWork with internal audit as required to update policy.Provide leadership for daily support and ongoing operation of the systems used globally.Receive and process vendor requests from business units.Monitor and follow up as required to meet Service Level Agreements.Assist in improving validation and quality reviews.Provide training support as required for the Vendor Master Group.Maintain internal controls as required by policy for vendor setup/maintenance.Notify participating business units of added and/or deleted vendors.Provide input and recommendations for training improvements.Perform other duties assigned by management.Essential Skills
Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.Ability to address vendor requests timely and follow up on internal controls.Very detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.Bachelor's Degree required.2 - 3 years of work experience in a Master Data Environment.Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy.Understanding of data management principles and best practices.Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills.At least 2 - 3 years of experience with master data setup.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Team player with a great attitude.Experience with accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), or product experience.Leadership experience as you will lead a team of 2.Great communication skills.Building relationships and partnerships.Accountability and integrity.Work Environment
The role reports to a supervisor and will have 1 - 2 direct reports. The team environment is fantastic, supportive, and collaborative. The position offers a 10% bonus once permanent and a salary range of 70-78K. Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis is beneficial. Dress code and specific working hours are not mentioned.
