ED/OBV Unit RN Nights & EOW – 36hrs.Unit Name: Emergency Department.Brief Unit Description: 65-Bed Emergency Department, pod-based, with separate pediatric pod and separate Acute Mental Health area.Skill Sets Required: General ED nursing skills including but not limited to: Assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking and patient education.Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:4.Patient Population: All.Bed Count: 65.Census: 230 visits/day.EMR (Charting System): EPIC – ASAP.Job Requirements
Years of Experience Required: 2 years Emergency Nursing experience.Floating Required: Yes.Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, for Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, & 7p-7a) when requested. Rotation frequency: Low. Night position does not rotate.Additional Details
A completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series approved by the FDA or WHO is required.Documentation of two MMR vaccines or proof of immunity.Vaccine required during flu season Sept 15th - April 30th.Must have documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date.Physician Statement signed by a medical professional within 365 days of start date.
