In the role of Production Trainer Job Title you'll play a pivotal part on our Department team.
This position contributes to our vision by:
Facilitating production training in the areas of compliance, new hire, COI, PPS, CAR, and Safran processes. Provides administrative support for the data entry, deliver, and related tasks in the company's Learning Management System.
•Supports the company's training efforts.
•Prepares a weekly LMS report that lists expired or about to expire training, follows up with the learners to arrange for training as necessary.
•Conducts Skill Assessments for Production and Production Support personnel
•Delivers hands on training: Production New Hire, COI courses, CAR related training, and Safran process training.
•Conducts Performance Progression System activities
•Supports additional training for NCR's, FAIR's and Drawings as needed
•Maintains training documents which includes handouts, updating binders, quizzes, exams as needed.
•Maintains accurate training records.
•Strong working knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications.
•Proven ability to train others.
•Effective collaborator.
•Ability to work independently and efficiently.
•Proven problem-solving abilities within a team environment.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Must be able to speak in a group setting and possess strong presentation skills.
•Production training experience preferred.
•Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently and efficiently, with minimum supervision.
•Able to evaluate personnel skills with objectivity and fairness.
•Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
•Able to work independently, including handling of confidential and sensitive information.

The expected pay range for this position is between $25.13/hr - $27.93/hr USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field, or high school diploma and relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
Experience working in manufacturing industries and in a production floor environment
Foundational knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes
Working knowledge of engineering drawings / specifications and basic quality procedures required.
Proven problem-solving abilities within a team environment.
Proven ability to train others.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
•Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.
•Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma and Lean Tools
•Prior training and coaching experience in a manufacturing environment
•Production training knowledge.
•Foundational knowledge of Human Resources rules and regulations
•Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
