OverviewThe Director of Quality, at Cook Advanced Technologies, will be responsible for assuring that the quality system and policies are understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization. Additionally, this person is responsible for overseeing effective operating processes and procedures, to ensure compliance and successful completion of R&D and production deliverables. This individual will also ensure that procedures within the Cook AT Business System are understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring that the organization performs and is managed compliantly, efficiently and effectively;
Fulfill management responsibilities as outlined in QMS documents;
Develop and refine QMS documents to adequately cover scope of operations;
Serve as Quality Management Representative;
Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards by which the company’s efficiency and effectiveness can be evaluated;
Implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations with respect to Quality;
Serve as Process Owner for multiple Cook AT processes; and
Monitor updates to external standards, laws, regulations and expectations that may impact Cook AT business.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required or otherwise technically qualified by education, training and/or experience;
Detailed knowledge of Cook companies, and Cook AT and its operation preferred;
Knowledge of applicable regulations; and
knowledgeable about applicable quality system procedures, instructions and forms;
Knowledge of Quality System standards (ISO13485);
Ability to maintain group perspective;
Conscientious person with good work ethic and personal discipline; and
Proven ability to communicate and work constructively with colleagues.
