Under general supervision of the Manager of Software Development, the Software Developer will use their software development skills (primarily C#/.NET), dependability, and commitment to excellence to create, extend, and support mission-critical enterprise software solutions.
Essential Functions

Maintain a current understanding of best practices related to software development and documentation.Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages to develop, test and bug-fix functionality or improve existing software.Participates meaningfully in team code reviews, pair programming, standup meetings, sprint reviews, and online discussion when applicable.Demonstrates developing values of service, growth, collaboration, competency, and personal leadership in work responsibilities.Performs related and special duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree is required. May substitute equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in software development, including 2 or more years of hands-on experience in .NET (C#) programming.Full lifecycle experience with requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.General knowledge of design patterns and principles, particularly Object-Oriented Design, Service-Oriented Architecture, and the fundamentals of good software design.Self-motivated learner with attention to detail.Able to work in the US legally without sponsorship
Preferred Requirements
Experience with related technologies and frameworks including Visual Studio, Git, MVC, and REST API development."Full stack" programming capability using any modern JavaScript framework.Experience building functions, procedures, tables, and queries using SQL.Experience working with Azure and/or Salesforce is a plus.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This position works 38.75 hours per week from Monday through Friday during the business day.As a hybrid role, there are expectations for on-site and remote work in the Chicagoland area. Weekend hours and travel are typically not expected in this role.
