DescriptionWe are seeking a competent Senior Manager of People & Change to be part of our team in this Global Consulting Firm based in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be tasked with managing risk associated with our strategic clients' use of technology, developing strategies to solve complex business problems, and building lasting relationships with clients.Demonstrated experience with the following: Full-scale organizational design and driving workforce planning initiatives to align talent strategies with evolving business needs across M& A, scaling up/down, and transformations. Experience in identifying cost efficiencies across organizational structures and labor models. Conducting comprehensive skills assessments to support strategic workforce planning and organizational transformation. Crafting and implementing talent strategies that focus on optimizing recruiting planning, talent pipelines, succession planning, employee engagement and leadership development Strong background in business development, with experience in generating and executing successful proposals, meeting sales targets, and building sustainable client relationships. Experience guiding companies away from job or roles based to skills-based organizations. Organizational design, talent management, and workforce optimization, with a complementary background in change management to support smooth transitions and process improvements. Establishing and cultivating long-term business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives. Successfully pursuing business development opportunities and identifying and implementing strategies to expand existing relationship with clients. Ability to translate and communicate issues, risks or challenges to client personnel, including executives. Leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate. RequirementsYour Educational and Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline 7+ years working in Human Capital Consulting, Human Resources or Talent Acquisition, or related field, either in professional services or industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access. Experience working with OrgVue is preferred.
