A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for ICU RN's. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed. 2 years of unit experience. 13 Week contract.Job Requirements
ICU RNs with a minimum of 2 years of unit experience. Must be able to titrate drips such as Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics. Proficiency in interpreting telemetry monitoring is required.Schedule Information
Shifts are 12 hours long, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week. Shift times are 0630-1830 and 1830-0630. Every other weekend required, as well as every other holiday or as needed based on unit needs. The ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the unit's needs is essential.Unit Specific Information
Self-scheduling or block scheduling is not allowed; the manager will create the schedule based on unit needs. Charge nurses will attend RRTs and Codes without taking an assignment. RTs required to work with equipment from nasal cannula to ventilators. RNs will float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity/NICU. Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue. Two shifts of unit/department specific orientation are required.Additional Details
Fast-paced unit with volume flexes due to being primary tertiary hospital for the system. Successful nurses on this unit ask questions, have a positive attitude, willingness to help others, exhibit critical thinking skills, personable nature, and a positive attitude. Team environment aimed at fostering high-quality care in collaboration with attendings and student providers (fellows, residents).
