About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management officer in the Unsecured Lending Operations Control team. This team supports the Unsecured Lending Operations group within Consumer Lending Operations. This role will focus on supporting the business to ensure adherence to Privacy regulations by serving as the subject matter expert in various routines inclusive of RCSA engagements, issue management, exam management, new business initiatives, and general privacy assessments. The role works directly with supported business partners across both the Unsecured Lending Operations and Card Product teams.

In this role, you will:

Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact

Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area

Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies

Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area

Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls

Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies

Lead Control Management project or virtual teams

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Strong knowledge and experience in risk and control identification methods and performing assessments.

Strong working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and applicable Corporate Policy requirements in order to identify areas of risk and issues for the LOB and/or provide credible challenge.

Knowledge of Privacy rules and regulations.

Knowledge and understanding on Control Programs including Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), executing the RCSA (risk identification, risk assessment - inherent/residual, and control design and Issue Management

Direct experience with Issue Management Life Cycle and issue & corrective action remediation

Knowledge and understanding of Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) and Veritas such as reporting and issue management

Ability to collaborate at all levels of organization but also influence to ensure risks are appropriately mitigated in a timely and efficient manner.

Exhibits resourcefulness, leveraging information and data from multiple sources to effectively assess risk.

Demonstrated application of effective credible challenge and likewise, the ability to successfully withstand credible challenge of work product.

Ability to create, implement and maintain effective repeatable processes.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong, proactive, individual contributor and ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.

Position offers a hybrid work schedule in which you are required to work in office 3 days per week at a minimum in one of the locations listed below

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$111,100.00 - $217,200.00
