Responsibilities Typical work assignments include, but are not limited to: Serves as task assigner and tracker for the ISD Executive Secretariat (Exec-Sec) responsible for reviewing, assigning, prioritizing, and tracking all incoming and outgoing correspondence and tasks for the ISD. Provides guidance and authoritative technical advice to a wide range of audiences which include subordinate staff, higher level management, and senior leadership. You qualify for the GS-13 grade level, if you have: EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level (or equivalent) performing the following duties: Reviewing, assigning, prioritizing, and tracking work, incoming and outgoing correspondence, communications and tasks for organizational senior leaders. Leading high level activities including status of tasks and projects, policies and procedures, due dates, extensions, changes in signature levels. Providing guidance and advice to subordinate staff, higher level management, and senior leadership. Experience analyzing and evaluating quantitative and qualitative data to assess project performance and progress to identify material weaknesses, forecast future outcomes, and recommend decisive actions for timely decisions. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Time-in-Grade Requirements: Under competitive merit promotion procedures, any individual who is currently holding, or who has held within the previous 52 weeks, a General Schedule (GS) position under a non-temporary appointment in the competitive or excepted service, must meet "time-in-grade" requirements (have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade of the grade for which you are applying).
