About the Team
DoorDash Labs is a team within DoorDash building autonomous delivery robots and other autonomy solutions from the ground up for DoorDash's core delivery platform. If you have a passion for applying autonomy and robotics in a service used by millions of people daily, then we want to talk to you!
About the Role
As a Software TPM at DoorDash Labs you will play a central role within the robot operations team at DoorDash Labs as we scale and optimize last-mile deliveries using autonomy.
You will report to the manager of our growing Program Management team and will interface with operations, hardware, service, software, autonomy, safety and testing teams on a daily basis. This role is a hybrid role and requires being on site 1-2 days per week.

Be part of an exciting effort to develop and manufacture an autonomous delivery robot
Work with our Autonomous Software teams in the Bay Area
Program manage and help lead development for our cutting edge software within Simulation & Mapping
Drive completion of autonomy features from requirements or engineering concept to validated public roads driving readiness
Work with leaders and engineers across Product, DevOps, Hardware, Software, Firmware, Controls, AI and Ops to plan, track, follow up and resolve issues
We're excited about you because you have…
A B.S., M.S., or PhD. in engineering, e.g. robotics, mechanical, electrical or computer science
8+ years of industry experience working in engineering and program management
In-depth experience with the software development life cycle
Demonstrated success taking software products from concept to production
A track record of managing complex, cross-functional programs with significant ambiguity and on track delivery of programs
The ability to operate from a deep technical level all the way up to providing comprehensive program status to executive leadership
In-depth understanding of autonomy feature validation strategies in simulation, closed course testing and on public roads
Strong familiarity with program management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet/MS Project, Google Workplace applications
Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
