The Project Engineer will coordinate and ensure the completion of projects, identify and resolve issues, and oversee the work of the Design Engineers to ensure work is in line with customer and regulatory requirements. They will also ensure all project elements comply with timelines, budget, and regulations.Note:

The primary difference between job levels tie to skill level, complexity of the problem solving, and year of experience. Job assignments will be based on experience, job opening and budget availability, and the performance level of the incumbent.SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

Essential Functions(Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsTake ownership of assigned projects to ensure completion on time, on budget, and in compliance with regulations.Provide technical input to program management related to engineering components of the project for the creation of the project schedule; identify project elements and phases, sequence elements, and time estimates. For example, check program schedule to ensure integration with concurrent projects and validates resource availability (manpower, software, materials, systems, etc.).Perform technical analysis, reviews specifications, and product design to develop a cost and time estimate.Monitor project progress and recommend schedule changes based on re-prioritization, materials availability, and as customer needs change.Assess impact of customer changes, time, cost, materials, and processes.Identify necessary tests that must be conducted during the engineering process. Monitor to ensure the completion of tests such as functionality, durability, and safety.Provide regular verbal or written updates based on KPIs and project status. Analyze data and recommend corrective action as needed.Monitor the work of Design Engineers for accuracy and technical competence; provide feedback as needed.Develop and maintain standard list of notes for use on 2D engineering drawings.May work with management and sales teams to review project proposals; identify and address potential issues as needed.Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products.Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and ExperienceEducation:A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline is required.Experience:

Assists in the training and coaching of project team members as assigned.
