Compensation:

$185,000 - $207,000

Compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, reflecting the qualifications and expertise of the successful candidate.

As a Daytime Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to hospitalized patients. Your responsibilities will include:

Patient Care Management:

Conduct comprehensive assessments, including medical history reviews, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.

Develop, implement, and manage individualized care plans in collaboration with the physician team.

Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and ensure optimal outcomes.

Collaborative Teamwork:

Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including hospitalists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver coordinated care.

Participate in daily rounds, providing updates and clinical insights to the team. 3.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures:

Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.

Patient and Family Communication:

Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

Address questions and concerns, ensuring understanding and comfort with care plans.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and timely medical records using the hospital's EMR system.

Document patient encounters, updates, care plans per hospital and regulatory standards.

Quality and Safety:

Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and evidence-based guidelines to ensure the highest standards of care.

Transition of Care:

Assist in discharge planning, including post-hospitalization care coordination and follow-up appointments.

Provide thorough handoffs to the nighttime team or other care providers during shift changes.
