(Saugerties, NY)The Assembly Technician is responsible for putting together various parts based on mechanical prints and other visuals using both hand and power tools.First Shift Hours: 7am - 3:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Applies knowledge to identify parts that do not meet industry standards through testing and visual inspection throughout the build process

Modifies various parts using both hand and power tools to meet the needs of each specific build

Maintains appropriate communication with supervisor to ensure efficient and timely production

Completes and submits time costing sheet documentation each day with the relevant service, project, and billing information

Maintains a professional manner to enhance the company's image with customers

Follows any safety regulations necessary and wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Cleans working area prior to leaving each job

Attends and participates in departmental or company meetings

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Complete routine tasks according to departmental policies and procedures

Work with direct supervision

Other duties may be assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Visual acuity and manual dexterity

Work well in a team environment

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to follow guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment

Practices department and company-wide continuous improvement

Willingness to train in multiple disciplines to drive company-wide cross-functionality

Education, Certifications and Experience:High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous production or related work experience preferred

Salary Range:
