SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsThe applications team is our field-based, customer-facing organization for process-based needs, and this position is geared towards people who have an interest and/or experience in the semiconductor industry.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand, deliver, demonstrate, and fully implement a process solution that meets and aims to exceed customer requirements.Installation of customer-specific processes on systems and testing compliance with agreed process specifications.Improve procedures and specifications related to the delivery of quality equipment to the customer.On-site attendance for process installation acceptance, process development, and process update meetings, along with remote support for customers.Collaboration with internal SPTS groups to ensure proper process transfer and issue reporting.Collaboration with the sales team on new applications or potential for future tool sales.Make presentations for all onsite projects, proactively offering solutions to problems as needed.In-depth compilation analysis of data.Develop familiarity with necessary process modules and endpoint capabilities.Key Behavioral CompetenciesAble to communicate effectively with all levels within the company.Flexible and highly motivated with a “hands-on”, “can-do” approach.Able to work as part of a small team or in an unsupervised role with generally tight deadlines.Able to carry out relevant project work in a multi-tasked manner.Able to effectively mentor other team members as required.Willingness to work away from home at specific customer sites or abroad for extended periods of time on short notice.QualificationsEducated to degree level in a relevant science or engineering discipline – ideally holding a Master's degree.Knowledge of clean room procedures and analytical instrumentation desired.Experience of report writing and progress presentations using the Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with basic Lean/6-sigma definitions desired.Experience dealing with customers and ability to handle difficult situations.Hands-on experience of process engineering with basic understanding of general semiconductor manufacturing flows a bonus.Minimum QualificationsMaster's or PhD Level Degree with 0-15 years of process engineering experience.The company offers a total rewards package that is competitive and comprehensive including but not limited to the following: medical, dental, vision, life, and other voluntary benefits, 401(K) including company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), student debt assistance, tuition reimbursement program, development and career growth opportunities, financial planning benefits, wellness benefits, paid time off and paid company holidays, and family care and bonding leave.KLA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
