Your opportunity

As the Product Analytics Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to inform product strategy, optimize user experiences, and drive business growth. You will lead a team of analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. As a hands-on leader, you will lead the technical work on key projects setting standards of excellence in data science, analysis, executive communication and execution for the team. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader who is business oriented as well as technically strong, thriving in ambiguous problem spaces with a strong track record of execution.What you'll do

Provide technical leadership, including guiding the team on best practices in data analysis, modeling techniques, model monitoring and tool selectionLead and manage project initiatives for the Product Analytics team, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery of high-impact resultsInvestigate user behavior patterns to identify opportunities for improving product adoption, engagement, and retention of our observability toolsDevelop and implement strategies to build product stickiness and reduce churn, including the creation and tracking of relevant metrics for observability productsTrack KPIs across the product organization and perform root cause analysis on significant changes or anomaliesCollaborate closely with Data Engineering teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and efficient pipelinesProvide strong people management, including performance evaluations, career development planningMentor and upskill team members, fostering their professional growth and enhancing the team's overall capabilitiesOversee hiring and onboarding processes to build and maintain a high-performing analytics teamDevelop and maintain comprehensive documentation of analytics processes, methodologies, and findingsFoster a positive team culture that promotes innovation, collaboration, and continuous learningThis role requires

Minimum of 7 years of experience in advanced Analytics and data science, with a significant portion in leadership rolesExperience spearheading cross-functional initiatives that impact the entire organizationPython programming skills for data manipulation, analysis, and DS modelingSolid understanding of statistical concepts and their application in business contextsHands-on experience with at least 3 of the following modeling and predictive analytics techniques such asSupervised learning: regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting machines (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM)Unsupervised learning: clustering (K-means, hierarchical), dimensionality reductionTime series analysis and forecasting methods (ARIMA, Prophet)Model evaluation metrics and validation techniques (cross-validation, ROC curves, confusion matrices)Some background in model deployment in production and model monitoringStrong people management skills, including experience in leading and developing high-performing teamsExcellent project management skills with experience using tools like Jira and ConfluenceExpertise in data visualization and dashboard creation, particularly with TableauProficiency in SQL for complex data querying and analysisFamiliarity with dbt for data transformation and modelingStrong data visualization and storytelling abilities to communicate insights effectivelyExperience with Analytics best practices and establishing data governanceStrong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire team membersProven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environmentBonus points if you have

Estimated Base Pay Range: $180,000 - $225,000. The pay range above represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position. This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
