This position serves as the chief advisor to the college president and the senior leadership team on all financial matters, ensuring that our fiscal resources are effectively utilized to enhance student learning and workforce engagement. The CFO will manage and lead administrative staff, focusing on essential functions such as accounting, budgeting, and cash management. Additionally, this role requires ensuring compliance with financial legal obligations and overseeing the preparation of financial projections, trend analyses, and the execution of the annual budget process.Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, accompanied by at least 8 years of accounting experience with an emphasis on budget forecasting. A thorough understanding of modern accounting principles and financial reporting requirements is necessary. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with a proven ability to make informed decisions, are essential qualities for success in this role. The CFO will also oversee internal controls, manage the annual audit process, and implement finance-related administrative systems.
