JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Responsible for accounts payable for Transport operational invoices and process through Chorus and Oracle Financial System

•Ensure that payments are made from Oracle Financial System by working with the Downstream Accounting Team and problem-solving issues identified

•Manage the accounts receivable process by inputting daily billing for Targa Transport freight only customers into Chorus

•Manage transport payable process including initial review and input of transport invoices into Chorus; reviewing discrepancies and problem-solving invoice issues

•Assist in reviewing invoice issues identified by Targa's Downstream accounting group, coordinating problem solving with field personal, Targa management and 3rd parties as required to resolve

•Manage the customer set up process in Chorus and updating as required which will include setting up new locations, routes and mileage

•Input rates into Chorus and manage the freight rate table so that it balances with manual rates (excel) and RightAngle

•Preparing daily/weekly/monthly summary reports to determine if SharePoint and Chorus are in balance in preparation for monthly accounting close

•Manage the SharePoint base data and master lists required for Transport workflow processes for payroll and bills of lading

•Understand and review Transport's SharePoint process as it relates to Chorus and RightAngle and identify discrepancies for resolution

•Work with the dispatch team to ensure all data is input into Chorus correctly and in a timely manner in preparation for monthly accounting close

•Adhere to accounting's monthly, quarterly and year end close schedule that specifies certain workdays as mandatory attendance

•Other duties as required

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

•High School Diploma or GED

•Adept at using Microsoft Excel; comfortable with creating new spreadsheets and familiar with pivot tables

•Proficient with all other Microsoft applications including word, power point and outlook

•Able to work independently and be self-directed

•Able to multi-task and juggle competing priorities in a fast paced sometimes intense work environment

•Must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting at all levels of the organization

•Regular and reliable attendance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•Bachelor's Degree (Business, Accounting or Economics)

•Experience with Chorus, Oracle Financial System or Right Angle
