Warehouse
Technician.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates and monitors the contents of shipments that leave Comprehensive LogisticsAssists with training Material Movement TeamTrain, coach all shipping personnel in all policies and procedures of the companyAbility to make timely decisions that may affect the service and productivity of our customerCommunicate with the supervisor, quality, materials, and customers to ensure processes are being followed to meet customer requirementsPlan, organize and help solve problems and make informed decisions that affect service and productivity with regards to our customer.Build and/or ship loads in STREAMBe knowledgeable and understand how our function affects our customerEnsures compliance to Dock SafetyKeep proper documentation and recordsPromote and maintain a safe working environmentEnforce company policies/ procedures and corresponding work instructionsCommunicate effectively with internal and external customersResearch part status even when on a trailerBreak down build papers from customer for each cell – verify all received and if not notify customer with what is neededWork with 2nd shift planner (customer) with any inventory issuesGather parts requested throughout the night and schedule delivery to customer keeping within their 30-minute time frameSupport Quality Liaison with inventory/quality issues throughout the shiftSupport receiving with deliveries by entering in the systemSend nightly report to planners which updates them on parts needing to be reorderedMust have good attendance and be available whenever needed by the company.Must be able to bend, lift, squat up to 50ibs. Excessive sitting, walking, and standingPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent with a minimum of 2 years’ experienceWarehouse experience
(required)Knowledge of SAP/ERP/WMS systems
(preferred)Inventory experience
(required)Good computer skillsLean manufacturing experience desirable
