WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Business Process Manager (BPM) plays a critical role in driving efficiency and effectiveness across Ascend Learning and will be responsible for leading complex business process evaluation and assessment projects across Ascend Learning.
In this role you will lead early upfront business process assessment and in-progress efforts, identifying areas of improvement and proposing recommendations to address the challenges identified. You will leverage different improvement methodologies to resolve and lead the project execution or transition to a project manager.
The BPM will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and goals.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Leawood, KS or Burlington, MA office location preferred. Remote will be considered within the United States.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data to identify areas for process improvementLead and support process improvement projects, including project planning, execution, and monitoringDevelop and implement strategies to streamline and optimize business processesConduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues and develop solutionsMonitor process performance and identify opportunities for improvementDevelop and deliver training materials to educate stakeholders on new processes and systemsStay up to date with industry best practices and trends in process improvement methodologiesWork closely with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for process improvement initiativesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive process improvement efforts Regularly communicate process improvement updates and results to senior managementWHAT YOU'LL NEED
5+ years of process improvement or related experienceBachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, finance, or project management related management-related field. Master's degree preferredKnowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, and Six Sigma is preferredManagement consulting experience preferredProject management skills and experience leading complex programsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge of continuous quality improvement methods and toolsBENEFITS
