The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The objective of the US Consumer Services Control Management Product/Service Risk Advisory team is to provide specialized and strategic risk advisory specific to product and service areas.
US Consumer Services is looking for a Sr. Analyst of Product/Service Risk Advisory is focused on ensuring control management is embedded in the day-to-day operations of our organization. It will involve extensive collaboration with multiple partners across numerous business units, functional areas, and geographies.
The Sr. Analyst, US Consumer Services Product/Service Risk Advisory will:
Assist in providing strategic risk advisory support for specific product / service areas
Assist in compiling best practices and learnings from historical product launches and change management initiatives, and support leveraging compiled best practices to inform risk identification throughout the new product lifecycle
Assist in day-to-day activities to assess the needs of BU and functional leaders to ensure sufficient understanding of Operational Risk Management (ORM) and controls (e.g., annual knowledge assessments and refresher trainings)
Support day-to-day activities required to coordinate with product development and service delivery teams to embed operational risk management considerations into the product lifecycle and service operations ongoing
Support facilitation of risk awareness and education within product and service teams to enhance their ability to manage risks effectively
Required Qualifications:
2 years of experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit function) and understanding critical operational risk management lifecycle activities
Project management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience in process governance, establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous
Digitally savvy and knowledge or interest in emerging risk fields: Payments, Artificial Intelligence, Web3
Experience in at least one of the following:
Assisting in day-to day activities to assess the needs of business unit leaders to ensure sufficient understanding of Operational Risk Management and controls
Assisting compiling and sharing best practices and learnings from historical product launches and change management initiatives
Supporting day-to-day activities for coordination with product development and service delivery teams to embed operational risk considerations into the product lifecycle and service operations

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
