Chase Travel is on a journey to be the go to travel solution for savvy customers - the Strategy team is at the heart of this nearly 5k person global organization and works closely with the leadership team in developing and articulating the overall strategy to both internal and external stakeholders.
As a Vice President on the Chase Travel Strategy team, you will take the lead in managing fast-paced projects that are of high priority to our senior management and are at the forefront of the industry. Your responsibilities will encompass growth strategies, launching new products, entering new markets, forming partnerships or acquisitions, and initiating cross-line of business projects. These projects are team-based and necessitate significant collaboration with senior executives and cross-functional business partners.
Job Responsibilities
Develops the strategic priorities for Chase Travel, serving as an objective thought partner to the Chase Travel Leadership team and other senior leadersCollaborates with teams across LOBs and functional areas (e.g., data science, finance, product, marketing)Scopes and structures projects that drive high impactLeads and partners with teams in project execution to identify issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions and quantify potential impact to the businessDevelops and delivers CEO-level executive communications with limited oversightRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Minimum 6 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, startups (FinTech), investment banking, private equity / venture capital, strategic finance, or similar roles.Minimum 1 year of experience leading teamsAbility to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical tools to develop solutionsStrong communication, presentation, and influencing skills - ability to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resourcesA high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadershipIntellectual curiosity and ability to develop subject matter expertise in new subjects quicklyAdvanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skillsOpen, collaborative, team-oriented operating stylePreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Familiarity with product management in the travel industry.Familiarity with or experience in Agile build methodologies preferred.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
