JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.SAir Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech IIJT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challengesWhat You Will Do with JT4 The Electrical Engineer II will design analysis, modeling, simulation, and characterization of high-speed digital circuitsLayout custom printed circuit boards using IPC design standard and guidelinesDevelop and refine team processes for PCB design, part creation, and library/database standardsJOB FUNCTIONS& ESSENTIAL DUTIES• Develop and refine team processes for PCB design, part creation, and library/database standards• Create, maintain and design in Altium Vault• Participate-in a multi-functional engineering team environment to develop and integrate hardware, software, and network technology• Generate required artworks & drawings for fabrication and assembly DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS• Fine pitch BGA routing, including micro vias and backdrilling• High-speed, impedance-controlled stack-up, multi-layer board layout design that meet the DFM guidelines• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Altium, (or comparable design software)• Sizing, installing and troubleshooting various electronic components including leadless SMD as small as 0402 and writing scripts to simplify the process• Experience with wire harness design and build, including associated sub-components Multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, power supplies, etc REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE The incumbent must have a Bachelor of Science in engineering from an ABET-accredited academic institution with 2 years of related engineering experience, or have an accredited Master of Science in EngineeringThe candidate must have professional knowledge of applicable engineering concepts and principles and familiarity with related engineering fieldsThe candidate must have practical knowledge of test methods and practices sufficient to perform routine to more complex engineering procedures and to prepare or make minor modifications of standard test procedures or test equipment work instructionsThe candidate should have a working knowledge of computer systems and computer-based engineering tools and must possess planning/organizing skillsThe candidate must possess a valid, state issued driver's licenseMust be able to obtain and maintain security clearanceMust be a U.ScitizenSALARY The expected salary range for this position is $69,409 to $120,307 annuallyNote: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will payJT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offerBENEFITS• Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance•••Benefits Active on Day 1• Life Insurance• Health Savings Accounts/FSA's• Disability Insurance• Paid Time Off• 401(k) Plan Options with Employer Match• JT4 will match 50%, up to an 8% contribution• 100% Immediate Vesting• Tuition Reimbursement
