Office of International EngagementJob SummaryThe Assistant Director of International Admissions will assist international students applying to Illinois State University in a variety of programs: Undergraduate and Graduate Pathways, Academic English programs, special short term programs, and undergraduate and graduate direct entry programs.
The individual in this position oversees the successful admission of eligible students to ISU and is responsible for maintaining ethical recruitment standards, representing the University's interests specifically in areas related to the University's admission process, and supporting established requirements. They will demonstrate knowledge of educational systems abroad and continuously strive to improve operational systems, processes, and policies in support of ISU's internationalization goals as they relate to the recruitment and admission of international students.Additional InformationThe Office of International Engagement comprises seven units that operate interdependently to serve varied populations and achieve institutional goals.University Benefit Highlights:Insurance benefits, including health, dental, vision, and lifeRetirement and supplemental retirement planning optionsTuition waiver benefits available to staff as well as their eligible dependentsPaid holiday/administrative closures during Thanksgiving and Winter BreaksPaid benefit time
