The successful candidate will be tasked with the comprehensive management of the company's loan portfolio, including loan approvals, risk management, and ensuring the overall quality of the lending portfolio. This role involves providing leadership and direction to the lending staff, supervising the collection of problem loans, and overseeing the development and maintenance of loan policies and procedures. The Chief Credit Officer will also be responsible for chairing the Loan Committee, exercising oversight of the company's risk management, and working closely with the loan production groups to facilitate efficient credit decisions and ensure excellent customer service. Candidates for the Chief Credit Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, a minimum of 10 years' of experience in leadership, credit and risk management, and credit approval in both consumer and commercial lending. Additionally, the role requires at least 3 years' of experience as a CCO with a company of $5B in assets or more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, be proficient in computer skills related to banking and financial management, and have a proven track record of maintaining a high-quality, low-risk loan portfolio.
