The successful candidate will be tasked with managing credit policy and performance across various credit types, including commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, and small business administration credits. This role involves leading the credit team to support loan products, policies, and procedures that maintain the quality of the lending portfolio. The Chief Credit Officer will also be responsible for high-quality credit analysis, portfolio stress testing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, the role includes being a key member of the bank's leadership team, participating in various committees, and assisting in meeting annual loan growth goals. Applicants for the Chief Credit Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' of experience in financial and credit analysis and lending, with a strong background in C&I lending. Management experience is required, and a background in loan workouts and SBA experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have completed a formal bank management executive school or a financial industry-related degree program. The role demands the ability to create and analyze credit presentations, business correspondence, and loan policies, as well as the capacity to interpret and apply regulatory standards.
