*Location: *Suwanee, GA (in-person)

*Reports To: *Accounting Manager

*Compensation:* $80K-$90K + bonus opportunity + benefits + 401K match

*Summary:*

Secures financial operations by monitoring and approving financial processing, reporting, and auditing; supervising staff.

*Essential duties and responsibilities *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.* Prepare monthly General Journal entries for closing/allocation/corrections (Prepaid Expenses, Overhead Allocation, and Bonus Accruals).* Review entries/accounts for accuracy.* Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Year, and Year-End Reports.* Prepare/Enter all Manual invoices for Japan.* Prepare monthly payment for Mimaki Engineering.* Prepare/initiate wire transfers to Mimaki Engineering and Bank of America.* Prepare/initiate wire transfers to Mimaki Engineering and Bank of America.* Reconcile bank accounts* Approve all payments via Wire transfer, Chrome River, check, etc.* Supervise the Accounting staff members.* Conduct annual performance reviews and provide on-going coaching to department employees.* Interview, hire, and train new employees.* Review and approve the work product.* Conduct regular team meetings.* Member of the J-SOX Accounting team.* Review Sales & Use Tax Returns for each state.* Review Credit Memo Requests.* Review/Update Accounting Manuals.* Prepare any information requests from Japan or other Mimaki Departments.* Assist the Accounting Director with any additional tasks related to Accounting.* Prepare any information requests required by company audits.

*Qualifications: ** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.* 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.* Proficiency in accounting software.* Proficiency in Microsoft Programs.* Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.* Excellent leadership, communication, and organization skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.* This position requires to work in the office 4 days a week and 1 day remote unless special projects that randomly comes up to require 5 days in the office. There is no negotiation to work more remote days.* May require extended hours during peak periods such as month-end, year-end, and/or audits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
