Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships)
+ Will work collaboratively with teachers in MTSS to assist in the success of all students
+ Will teach, model, and support PBIS in all building situations
+ Will work with students in skills room
+ Ability to work with ALL students
+ Computer skills are necessary to input data into student data system and manipulate spreadsheets
+ With classroom teachers, establish a positive learning environment while maintaining a structured setting
+ Assist with and support classroom teacher with instruction
+ Work collaboratively with teachers using developmentally appropriate practices, including following teacher's direction for instruction
+ Assist teacher in monitoring students' progress by keeping necessary records and giving feedback as requested
+ Willingness to work with students in a positive manner that will help develop and/or enhance the practice of self-discipline.
Applicant should have the ability to resolve conflicts.
Must be able to communicate and relate to students in a non-threatening and friendly manner.
+ Maintain patience and positive interpersonal skills with all students.
+ Walk hallways during class time and/or during passing time, reporting any issues to office staff
+ Communicate with instructional staff daily regarding instruction and student issues
+ Successful candidate must possess strong inter-personal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students to ensure each student reaches his/her full potential
+ Good attendance and punctuality are a must to ensure that the duties and responsibilities of the job are performed successfully

+
