Application Support Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience supporting level 2 and 3 troubleshooting, application support to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Tidal, SNOW, RabbitMQ, Redis, Kibana, .NET, and MS SQL Server. This role involves working on portals and systems and requires proficiency in English. The position is work from home with a day shift schedule and no travel requirements and on call rotation per 2 week schedule and available for maintenance Responsibilities Lead the development and maintenance of complex portals and systems using .NET and MS SQL Server. Oversee the integration of Tidal, SNOW, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Kibana into existing systems. Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure project success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions. Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications. Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in a timely manner. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and standards. Develop and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting. Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive. Participate in project planning and estimation activities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of new systems. Qualifications Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in technical roles with a focus on portals and systems MS SQL Server and .NET. Should possess strong expertise in Tidal SNOW RabbitMQ Redis Kibana .NET and MS SQL Server. Experience within the Healthcare domain strongly preferred. Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Should have experience in leading technical projects and mentoring team members. Must be proficient in English with strong communication skills both written and spoken. Should be able to work independently in a remote work environment. Nice to have experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools. Should have a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies. Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Should have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 12/07/2024. The annual salary for this position is between [$37,800] - [$74,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
